The FBI is investigating a pair of bank robberies this week in neighborhoods just to our west.

On Thursday, the TCF Bank at 4250 North Lincoln was robbed of about $3,000 by a man who wore a disco-tastic Afro wig and sunglasses.

The man entered the North Center neighborhood bank around 3:40 p.m. and presented a note to a teller that demanded cash, the FBI said. He then fled in an unknown direction.

According to the FBI, the man is black, about 25-years-old, and he stands 5'10" to 6-feet tall. He wore the wig, a black hooded sweatshirt with red sleeves, dark jeans, large sunglasses, and gray shoes.
