A search of the 33-year-old’s residence turned up 1.8 pounds of heroin worth $123,000; over $1,000 worth of suspected cannabis; $500 worth of suspected cocaine; plus methamphetamine, steroids, two handguns and a box of bullets, according to court records.

Investigators later determined that the guns had been reported stolen in Hammond, IN.

Sharp is charged with possessing 400-900 grams of heroin; manufacture-delivery of 30-500 grams of cannabis; possession of methamphetamine; possession of cocaine; possession of testosterone; two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm; and two counts of theft. A judge set his bail at $125,000.

  1. What landlord would rent an apartment to a guy with tattoos like that?

    1. Just a guess but it might be a landlord with a crappy apartment. Given that it's a basement apartment, it's possible that it isn't a legal dwelling and not up to building code. Also - if the tenant is a drug dealer, the landlord would likely be able to be paid in cash which is a nice thing if you don't want to report the income.

  2. Wow this guy gets 125k bond for nearly a brick of H and everything else he had, when the last article the guy got 50k bond for a couple of pillows. That's ludicrous. At least they're raiding the right people this time around, as opposed to raiding a couple of weed pushers.

    1. You have to remember that most successful drug dealers have cash. Cash that they can pay a good lawyer. Most of the judges and good successful lawyers know each other outside of Court. They go golfing together and attend each other's parties. All it takes is enough money for a quick nod from the lawyer to the judge and criminal get a low bail and even case dismissed sometimes. It's all about WHO you know.

  6. Looks like north chicago has become a haven for ex-cons. Uptown in particular, which is 50% halfway houses. Nice safe place to raise kids. Between the gangbangers, ex-cons and mentally unstable, it's a virtual Disney World. Yay!
