Rush Hour Robbery At Diversey Brown Line

Two men robbed a victim at gunpoint near the Diversey Brown Line station during yesterday’s evening rush hour, police said.

The victim was near the station when two offenders approached, pulled out a handgun, and demanded property around 6:45 p.m.

The men then fled in opposite directions.

Both offenders were described as black men 35-40 years old. One stands about 6’3” tall, weighs 215 pounds, and has a beard with short dreadlocks. He displayed the handgun and was last seen running southbound. The second man was wearing a green shirt with blue pants. He had a beard and an afro. He ran northbound after the holdup.

  4. Robbing people in broad daylight on CTA platforms with dozens of witnesses...makes you wonder if these scumbags already KNOW that they will NOT be prosecuted to the full extent of the law? What do you think Rahm? Kim? Tunney? Anybody? Bueller?
