PRIDE VIDEOS: Cop Car Dancefloor And More

Video: Crowd pummels a cop car during Pride 2014
Here are a few videos from Pride 2014 that have caught our eyes so far:

Kristen Linscott's photos of an unruly crowd dancing on and smashing the windows of a Chicago Police Department patrol car at Aldine and Broadway come to life in her Telly video.

While tidying up after the parade, a city street sweeper collided with a city pick-up truck at Halsted and Newport. While the collision was not caught on tape, the aftermath was:
Shortly before the parade reached Halsted and Belmont, the Chicago Fire Department whipped out their hose and sprayed down the crowd.

  1. Who in their right mind would use a cop car to stand on? If I didn't that I would go to to jail. We already have a shortage of manpower and equipment. I head on the scanner where they had radios that weren't working and were out of back up radios. Yep, Chicago sure is a world class City. The Parade needs new leadership. It's too long and there was times were when in between people and floats that was too long.

  2. It's the new liberal entitlement society, this is what the majority has been voting for in recent years so enjoy it because it's only going to get worse.

Moving Pride Fest to a separate weekend, making the parade earlier and the route longer have all been failures to make everyone behave. Time to end this event.
