A concerned citizen flagged down an officer and reported that three "suspicious" individuals had just entered the Chase Bank vestibule in the 3700 block of N. Broadway around 8AM today.

The officer found and spoke with the young men, two 19 year-olds and one 25-year-old.

All of the men were sent on their way. The previous call by the man who said he was jumped after leaving the Center on Halsted around this same time had not yet been dispatched to officers.

The 25-year-old was also stopped by police around 11PM last night as officers investigated a report of a man being jumped by several offenders near the Lucky Horseshoe Lounge.

His last known address is the Howard Brown Health Center on Broadway.

  1. "His last known address is the Howard Brown Health Center on Broadway."

Sound familiar? This same thing happened last May when when an identified gang member was arrested for a robbery right by Berlin, and he listed his address as "Broadway Youth Center." When will Howard Brown be held accountable?

  2. I'll bet it's true!

  3. They won't be held accountable until WE MAKE OURSELVES HEARD!

Be vocal! Be active! Get involved and be heard!

  4. Package thefts are creeping on the rise...use securer methods on your UPS FedEx and postal deliveries .. Xmas is a creeping.

Wandering persons (with nothing better to do) whilst your at work are eyeing those deliveries....

    - Concerned

    1. We've noticed more of that activity over the past few weeks, Anonymous. The area around Pine Grove and Grace has had several issues. Thanks for the tip.

  5. Be alert on the trains too. They start galavanting from car to car in groups starting on Thanksgiving. It's like a bell rang for them. It's a Chicago phenomenon.
