The 19th district ran out of officers to handle calls this morning. A couple of units popped back into service during the shortage and were quickly assigned priority calls.
Dispatch notified supervisors that the district was going into a RAP, which stands for "Radio Assignments Pending" at 4:36AM. The day crew came on duty at 6:00AM and began working on the backlog of calls, most of which were over two hours old, according to dispatchers.
Fortunately, today's backlogged matters were routine issues.
