BREAKING: Cops Hunting For Roscoe Robber Armed With Handgun

Police are searching the area for a dark green Volkswagen SUV used as a the get-away car in a gunpoint robbery on Roscoe Street within the past 20 minutes.

The victim was robbed on the street at 537 W. Roscoe shortly after 2 o'clock this morning by an offender described as male, black, 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, with shoulder-length dreadlocks. The assailant may have been in the company of a white male. No further description is available for the second person.

The Volkswagen was last seen northbound on Broadway from Roscoe.

  4. Tom Tunney needs to sell his businesses like he said he would before being sworn in. It is this conflict of interest that leads one to prefer protecting the nightclubs, bars, and luxury dildo shops over the residents and the prey that comes to spend money here.

  5. Just let CinnaBon open a location on Belmont and get it over with already. At least their employees will have standards and rules they have to comply with or be.......unemployed. Furthermore, their true leaders/managers won't put up with violence in or outside their place of business or they'll pull their tax $$ out of there.
