GIMME GIMME GIMME: Phone Theft on Roscoe

Chicago Police Department Case #HW317717

An Apple picker stole a man's white iPhone 4 in a purple case in the 1000 block of West Roscoe this morning. Police searched for the thief, described as male, black, in his 30's, 5'10" tall, wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans, who was last seen running east on Roscoe toward Clark Street. He was not found.

  1. Makes me wonder what will happen when the phones have "kill switches" installed in them! I guess it will just be boring wallets they will steal.

    Sadly though, i think only new phones will have this installed - unless they can update older software on fones.

    BTW - "Apple Picker" should be the official category! LOL

  2. "yoof". 30 and 40-somethings in Chicago are "just transient yoof".
    And just like kids, they have no $ to spend in this 'hood but are entitled to it all anyway.
